Il Metaverso di Climate Bridge è uno spazio digitale senza confini e in grado di creare una comunità interagente. Gli studenti, insegnanti, semplici curiosi, con il proprio avatar, possono impegnarsi in attività ludiche, di lavoro, in incontri sociali e in interazioni affettive… Ma soprattutto, confrontarsi sul futuro climatico, e non solo, del nostro mondo reale!
Un luogo dove incontrarsi ed interagire con o senza visore 3D, superando i confini della territorialità, senza consumare alcuna risorsa per gli spostamenti, immediatamente fruibile!
The Metaverse of Climate Bridge it is a digital space without
boundaries and able to create an interacting community. Students, teachers, simply curious, with their own avatar, can engage in playful activities, work, social encounters and emotional interactions… But above all discussing the climate future, and not only, of our real world!
A place to meet and interact with or without a 3D viewer, going beyond territorial boundaries, without consuming any resources for travel, immediately usable!
Without registration you can surf the site and read news and articles. In order to follow courses you have to register to keep tracking your progress. Registration is easy and doesn’t require confirmation email. Just remember to use a password with length at least 8 characters, including small and capital letters, numbers and symbols. You can register or login here or from the User menu (top bar) on the site.
While completing tasks in the courses section you gain Credits. With specific amounts of Credits you gain Levels. There are 5 Levels that can be reached. When achieving goals in the courses section, you gain Badges. The Badges you gain are assigned to your profile. They also give you extra Credits to help you level up.
Credits help you to level up but the badges are a kind of rewards when completing achievements or compared to other players (for example, the player with the greatest amount of Crerdits may get the “Champion Badge” and will keep it as long as the player has the most credits).
You can check your Level, Badges or the amount of Credits through the link here or through the user menu (top bar “User achievements” link).
In the courses sections you’ll find courses with lessons, exercises, games, puzzles etc. With each one of them you earn Credits. When enrolling in a course you’ll have to complete its lessons, exercises or educational games. In order to declare that you have read the lesson, you’ll have to click the button “mark as complete”.
Below the courses area, there is material with relative subject of climate change, including games, external links, etc, but they don’t provide Credit rewards.
All rewards are given through tasks from the “Courses” section. The site is being constantly updated with new topics, courses and other material as long as optimizations and additions.
It’s a work in progress, so please keep visiting in order to access new material.
